The Bible

Have you ever received a love letter? Or a gift from someone you love? You treasure it, think about it, and look back to it often. Is it because the letter or gift have something magical about them? No. You love it because it is a reminder of that person you love and the relationship you have with them. This is our Bible. 

God did not have to give us written words to know him—but he has graciously chosen to do so! He is kind and generous! He has given us this gift of his written word (love letter) that we call the Bible. Let’s be wise and treat the treasure as it should be!
